Note: Late Thursday afternoon, ACL organizers confirmed that Jay Z will also be playing the 2017 festival.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance the Rapper, Martin Garrix, The Killers, Gorillaz, Ice Cube, The xx, Ryan Adams and Solange are the top-line headliners of this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival, producer C3 Presents announced this morning. The two-weekend event returns to Zilker Park October 6-8 and 13-15.

Solange, who will also perform at this year’s Free Press Summer Fest, has the most prominent spot for a Houston-raised artist in ACL’s 16-year history. Other acts of regional interest include Austin veterans Spoon and the Black Angels, New Orleans rocker Benjamin Booker, Fort Worth honky-tonker Cody Jinks, second-generation outlaws Lukas Nelson & the Promise of the Real, ACL perennials Asleep at the Wheel and newly minted offshoot Dale and Ray, and Americana-circuit staples Band of Heathens.

Also high on the 2017 poster are The Head and the Heart, Run the Jewels, Foster the People, Vance Joy, Tove Lo (another FPSF 2017 act), Milky Chance, Crystal Castles, A$AP Ferg, Portugal. The Man, Bonobo, and SXSW 2017 breakouts the Lemon Twigs.

Artists performing only one weekend include Cut Copy, Royal Blood, Alison Wonderland, Superduperkyle, MuteMath and Thundercat (Weekend One); and Glass Animals, O.A.R., Eagles of Death Metal and Broods (Weekend Two).

A different lineup, which ACL organizers quickly said was a fake, leaked earlier this week. That one included George Strait, Elton John, Frank Ocean and Houston rapper Travis Scott on the poster, as well as The xx and Gorillaz.

Tickets, which start at $255 for a three-day pass, go on sale at 10 a.m. today through aclfestival.com. One-day passes will be available later this summer, C3 said.
