“I SAID YES!!!” Haynes, 28, captioned the kissing shot.
“I’m so blessed and happy for the future and my life together with Jeff,” Haynes tells PEOPLE.
Haynes’ rep shared some engagement details in a statement to PEOPLE.
“Jeff’s marriage proposal to Colton was incredible, starting with a personalized video message from Cher singing their favorite song ‘I Got You Babe’, followed by video messages from their family members and close friends – including Melanie Griffith, Serena Williams, Ally Maki, and many more. After Colton said yes, the proposal continued with a fireworks display set to Bruno Mars’ ‘Marry You’ as the couple danced in tears,” the rep described.
The couple, who first announced their relationship just one month ago on Valentine’s Day, documented their romantic beach getaway on their Instagram Stories.
“Jeff, you’re crying,” Colton said in a video. “You’re the sweetest person in the entire world. I can’t believe you.”
Celebrity florist Leatham, 46, pulled out all the stops with a candlelit pathway decorated with rose petals that led to a red heart, also made out of roses. “Love yep he’s the one,” Leatham captioned one of his videos.
“My love @jeffleatham,” Haynes wrote along with a video of him walking along a candlelit path on the beach.
Leatham even proposed with a little help from Cher!
“Thank you @cher and @pauletteakapauly – for helping making my Proposal Evening Epic – I got you Babe never sounded so good right before @coltonlhaynes said YES!!! So Appreciative and much love,” he captioned the video clip he played for his fiancé.
In addition, the pair have been gushing about each other on social media during their vacation.
“I can’t put into words how truly happy I am right now. So full of love,” Haynes, who publicly came out as gay in early 2016, shared on Friday.
“Surrounded by beauty inside and out life does not get better than this thank you @coltonlhaynes,” Leatham also posted on Friday.

Colton Haynes and Jeff Leatham are engaged — and Cher helped
Cher’s got you covered, babe.
She helped pop the question via video when Arrow and Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes and his celebrity floral designer boyfriend Jeff Leatham got engaged on the beach Saturday night in Los Cabos, Mexico. The pair posted the news Sunday on social media.
"I SAID YES!" Haynes, 28, captioned a photo on Instagram that shows the two kissing with fireworks in the background.
"So, I got you, babe," Cher says in the video, which displayed on a giant screen set up on the candle-illuminated sand. “This is for you, you know what it is, you know what you're supposed to do now. And this is going to be the best thing ever — and you have to call me to tell me how it worked out, all right?"
She ended by blowing congratulatory kisses to the couple, who’ve been posting idyllic shots from their vacation at Las Ventanas al Paraiso resort.
“I can’t put into words how truly happy I am right now,” Haynes posted Friday, pre-engagement. "So full of love."
